U.S. Veteran Earl G. Fox, 87, of Beulah, KY passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at his home.
He was born on January 3, 1930 in Beulah, KY to the late, Cora Lucille Fox and Bailey Clell Fox. Earl was a United States Army Veteran and was formerly a coal miner and owner and operator of Fox Lumber & Logging Company. He was a member of Suthards Christian Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Noraine Franklin Fox on March 6, 2013; brother, Bryce Kal Fox and; sister, Betty Joy White.
Survivors include his son, Bryce Eugene Fox and wife, Diane of Madisonville; daughters, Susan Fox Barnett and husband, Rod of Charlestown, IN, Jo Fox of Louisville, KY and Stephanie Fox Heltsley and husband, Scott of Shepherdsville, KY; grandchildren, Heather Barnett (Matt) Dodds, Alan (Amy) Fox, Tara Fox (Brandon Ratliff) Offutt, Eric Fox, Taylor (Collin) Hayes, Halee Heltsley and Cody Scott Heltsley; great-grandchildren, Hayden Fox, Kinsley Fox, Lucas Offutt, Juniper Dodds, Addilyn Offutt, Jasper Dodds, Emmarie Ratliff and Donovan Ratliff; sister, Mary Romerhaus, of Las Vegas, NV; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved pet and companion, Bailey.
A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2017 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville. Military Honors were conducted at the funeral home by the Hopkins County Honor Guard.
Visitation was from 11 a.m. until the service hour Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in Earl's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
