Jane was born September 15, 1935 in Leon, Iowa to Eugene and Sarah Carr. She graduated from Mt. Ayr High School in 1954. She earned her bachelor's degree from Iowa State University, where she graduated in 1958 with a major in Home Economics Education. She loved her work as a travel agent, cooking, gardening, traveling, and watching high school and college sports. She especially loved attending football games at Iowa State University. Above all, she dedicated her life to being a great mother and wife. She was proud of Bob's professional success and cherished her kids' accomplishments in scholarship, athletics, and business.
Survivors include Jeffrey Conway (Jolene) of New Orleans, Louisiana; David Conway (Lyn) of Mound, Minnesota; Daniel Conway (Laura) of The Woodlands, Texas; Kelley Conway (Patrick Sweet) of Madison, Wisconsin; and Kristi Caldwell (Rick) of Waverly, Iowa; and eleven grandchildren.
