Sharon Mae (Bingham) Hoch passed away October 14, 2017, at the age of 71 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. The family will be present on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Melcher-Dallas. Memorials may be made to the Melcher-Dallas Fire and Rescue Department or HCI Knoxville.
Sharon was born March 9, 1946, to Kenneth and Lois (McShane) Bingham. She attended school at Melcher and later earned her GED in 1980, with the assistance of Dan Fay. She married the love of her life, Michael Hoch, on October 9, 1965, and was blessed with four daughters: Valerie, Krystal, Stacy and Shantell.
Sharon loved to sew, cook and serve people, which she did in the various jobs she had at 10X, Red Haw Youth Corps, George's Chicken Shack, the Pickadilly, and Bob Allen. Her love of sewing and crocheting was shared with many as she made doll clothes, bridesmaid dresses, wedding dresses and various other clothing items for friends and family. The most memorable were the homemade underwear, as we knew every stitch was sewn with love. She loved attending craft shows and sharing her homemade items with others. Sharon also loved to sit and just people watch. She cherished her family and loved time spent with her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Sharon will be greatly missed by her husband of 52 years, Michael; her daughters; Valerie (Richard) Johnson, Krystal (Paul) Manges, Stacy (Michael) Anderson, and Shantell (Kevin) Cottington; 6 grandchildren; Rachel (Chance) Mayfield, Garould Johnson, Megan Anderson, Logan Anderson, Gabriella Manges and Trevor Raab; 1 step-grandson, Brendan Cottington; 3 great grandchildren; True, Kaden and Asher Mayfield; and 2 step-great grandchildren;.Jessie and Alexandria Cottington. She will also be missed by many other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents (Kenneth and Lois Bingham); parents in-law (Gilbert and Coletta Hoch); and several other family members including brothers in-law, sister in-law, nephews and nieces.
