Virginia Jean Huff, age 78, of Knoxville, died on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa.
Virginia was born on November 05, 1938 in Stuart, Iowa to James Albert and Edith (Steadman) Cline. She grew up in California and attended high school in Santa Cruz, California.
In 1956, Virginia was united in marriage to Donald Henry Klug until his passing in 1975. She later met Gale "Rusty" Huff, they were married for 25 years before his passing. Virginia was blessed with five daughters; Debora, Catherine, Elizabeth, Donna and Diana.
Virginia worked at many jobs throughout her life. She worked at King's Donuts in Des Moines for many years. She also worked for the Department of Human Services in Knoxville and was the owner of a bar and restaurant on Highway 92.
Throughout the earlier part of her life she enjoyed sewing and quilting. Virginia had many hobbies that she enjoyed such as reading, fishing, gardening and caring for her flowers. Virginia also had a love for animals. She took great pride in her dog, Molly, and her ferret.
Virginia is survived by four daughters: Debora Jean Petersma, Catherine Margaret Dodd, Elizabeth Ann Hancock, and Diana Lynn Bargar; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Virginia is also survived by her sister, Judy Rodman.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Edith Cline; her husband, Donald Klug and her husband, "Rusty" Huff; her daughter in infancy, Donna Jean Klug; one brother, Jimmy Cline; one grandson, Michaels Andrew Noble; and one granddaughter, Bonnie Sue McKinley.
Visitation for Virginia was held from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M., on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Winfield Funeral Home in Knoxville. Virginia's family was present. A Prayer, officiated by Elder Bill McDonald, was held at 6:00 P.M.
Memorials may be made to Virginia and will be determined on a later date. A private family burial will be held on a later date.
