Virginia May Treanor, age 73, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2016. As Virginia wished, her body has been cremated and a private burial service will be held at Graceland Cemetery on a later date. Virginia was born Aug. 25, 1942, in Knoxville. She is the daughter of Benjamin Arthur McMillen and Mary Annabell Johnson. On Oct. 22, 1968, Virginia was united in marriage to David James Treanor. To this union four children were born. Virginia and David lived in Redfield before moving to Knoxville in 2001. Virginia enjoyed oil painting, crossword puzzles, reading and going to the recreation center to swim with friends. Virginia loved her flower garden and most of all being with family and friends. Virginia is survived by her children; Cooper King of Rockhill, S.C., Brady Treanor of Des Moines, LaRay (Ron) Prudencio of Ankeny, Gerry (John) Brown of Knoxville, her brothers; David (Phoebe) McMillen of Chillicothe, Ohio; Roger (Sandy) Clark and Steven Clark both of Oskaloosa; sisters; Margaret McKenzie of Des Moines and Rosemary Ford of Eddyville; Grandsons; Wesley Prudencio of Ankeny, Cannon and Shafer Brown of Knoxville, and one great grandson; Jayden Brown of Knoxville. Virginia is proceeded in death by her parents, husband, and step-father; Charles Clark, one brother; Larry Clark, and one sister; Charlene Clark. Condolences may be sent to www.winfieldfh.com.
